Private lessons with you and your dog in a public park or in your home. We discuss what you want to work on and come up with a plan to get there. I coach you on training techniques and provide feedback with a custom training plan.

Me and Your Dog

Teach your dog what to do

Private lessons with just me and your dog. I will come to your dog and work with them one-on-one, in their home or nearby. This could be to satisfy their daily walk with a certified trainer, a walk & train to improve loose leash walking, desensitization, improving reactivity.

Best option for busy pup parents and some behavior modifications (ie. loose leash walking, desensitization etc).

Group

Learn with other dog guardians

Learn obedience and training skills in a small group with non-reactive dogs.

Great option for affordability and dogs with no reactivity.

I’m a certified dog trainer and I recently moved to Shawnigan Lake. I’m a PPDT (professional pet dog trainer) and have Canine First Aid. I was trained in evidence based fear-free positive reinforcement training methods by Good Dog Academy.

Having rescued two cats, two dogs and two horses with my wife I’m no stranger to working through the behavioral issues that come with traumatic beginnings.

Working with rescue horses reinforced the true power of positive reinforcement training when we taught the 20 year old unhandled rescue, Casanova, to lift his feet for the farrier when he previously needed to be sedated.
